This is an assembly area where they conducted orientation and lectures (oh no, lectures!). Seriously, this was our headquarters for the three days we spent in the jungle. There were also separate cabins for lodging, each with their own shower. Alas, the showers sprayed unfiltered, untreated brown river water -- yikes!
