We visited a local horse rancher who runs guided horse tours from the Sacred Valley to Cusco. Apparently it's all the rage with well-to-do American toursits.

Here Laura takes a ride on a Peruvian horse. They are known for their unique walk, where they move both legs on the same side of the body together with each step. You can see the horse has both its left front and left rear legs in motion at the same time. Most other horses would move their left front and right rear legs together.
