Here you can see a series of windows lined up in a row of adjoining Incan walls. This is an example of fine precision Incan stonework; you can see how closely the stones are set.

Surprisingly, the Incans used no mortar; the stones were cut precisely to shape using simple bronze tools, and they fit together perfectly. Some of the largest stones in these walls weigh as much as 12 tons!
